OUR HISTORY

Our story

Chris and Chelsea met in July 2008 at a local community bank where Chris was an established Financial Advisor and Chelsea was coming on board to assist the team with marketing and internal client needs. Both quickly learned to work well together as their personalities and professional goals aligned. Both were committed to getting the job done for their clients by going that extra mile. Trust was built and Chelsea enjoyed interacting and assisting Chris with his client needs.

Two short years passed and in 2010 Chris accepted a position with an independent advisory firm while Chelsea accepted a job as an Employee Benefit Analyst at an employee benefits insurance consulting firm a year later. Chris’s clients increasing had Medicare questions and because of the trust they had built around client care, he reached out to Chelsea in 2012 to get answers! This interaction helped connect them again not only professionally but personally this time. In early 2013 Chris asked out Chelsea on the date “that wasn’t a date” and in 2016 became husband and wife.

In 2018, Chris and Chelsea picked up where they left off in 2010 and began working at the same firm again. This time around both Chelsea and Chris had their respective clientele and quickly realized that there was again natural synergy in their focus areas. This is what led them to build Full Circle Financial Group and Full Circle Insurance Solutions.

Some people attribute a romantic connection to fate, others say it was perfect timing. We can attribute our love story to Medicare!

ABOUT US

Chelsea Jennings

Chelsea Jennings, President of Full Circle Insurance Solutions, has been partnering with small businesses and individuals for over a decade, guiding them on their health insurance options along with their dental, vision, life, and disability needs.

Chelsea considers herself trilingual in the health insurance field, as her expertise includes group, individual, and Medicare. Education is the forefront of Chelsea’s professional model. Health insurance is a very personal decision and Chelsea spends time with each
client properly coaching them on their options, while aligning with their overall financial plan, a critical reason Full Circle was formed.

Chelsea has extensive experience managing corporate employee benefit programs within a wide range of industry types. Each industry – non-profit, manufacturing, trade-specific, religious-based, and/or professional – brings a different challenge but with one end goal in mind: uncovering the right employee benefit package to fit a company’s culture.

Chelsea’s process includes annual marketing of employee benefit programs, rigorous negotiations, and various methods of communicating the employee benefit programs to its most important audience – the employees. Chelsea guides employer groups through their compliance needs to include DOL, IRS, and Health Care Reform changes and assists in the design and implementation of corporate wellness programs. She also assists her small business employees with weighing Medicare options in comparison to the
group health plan and individual options when employees are or become ineligible for group coverage.

After graduating from Old Dominion University in 2003, Chelsea completed her Marketing internship but made the decision to continue full-time child care for a beloved family with one unique twist – she became a home school tutor for competitive gymnasts and had the honor of teaching Gabby Douglas, Olympic Gold Medalist for two of those years. The skills she gained while working with different grade levels and high-performing students taught her how to manage tasks efficiently and give back to the community. While her gymnasts have grown into successful young adults, she still keeps up regularly with the family she spent so many beloved years.

Chelsea is very active in community service, serving as a Board Member and Vice President of The Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake. Chelsea is slated to become President during the 2022-2023 term. In addition, she is a member of the Chesapeake Task Force on Aging where she dedicates time and resources for Seniors in the local area. She also serves as a Chamber Ambassador with the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. This important role provides intimate interaction with new and existing Chamber members with frequent check-ins and providing a welcoming feel at numerous Chamber events. In prior years, Chelsea participated in TCC’s Women’s Center mentor program centered around professional growth for future female TCC graduates.

She spends the majority of her downtime with her beloved husband Chris, and her two step kids Emma and Will, or you can find her on the tennis court learning new skills or assistant coaching several local high school teams.
